My Physiotherapy with Justin - Jenny Osborne (and Otis!)

Having had Polio, I walk with sticks.  Six months after I moved to Fordingbridge I slipped on some wet paving stones and smashed my arm against the wall.  I knew I hadn’t broken it because I could put a little amount of weight on it but the strength wasn’t there.  It was badly bruised and the muscle looked odd.

I went to my GP who sent me for physiotherapy.  Six weeks later it still hadn’t improved and I was told there was nothing else they could do for me.

My daughter came to stay and was horrified how much my walking had deteriorated and persuaded me to get another opinion.

Justin Scriven was recommended to us by one of his clients and after looking at my arm, he diagnosed a ruptured bicep tendon which was later confirmed by a Specialist.

It was too late to sew it back on and so I had to use a wheelchair for outdoor use to stop further deterioration of my arm.

For the past ten years he has kept me pain free and mobile for which I am extremely grateful.

I am now moving to the Midlands to be nearer to my daughters and hope that I shall find another Physiotherapist as clever and resourceful as Justin.

With very many thanks,

Jennie Osborne and Otis( My Assistance Dog).
